PRIVACY POLICY
WHO WE ARE
Our site address is: https://www.odesea.com.
COMMENTS
When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comment form, the visitor’s IP address, and the browser user agent to help detect spam.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be sent to the Gravatar service if you use it. The privacy policy page for the Gravatar service can be found here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After your comment is approved, your profile picture will be publicly visible in the context of your comment.
MEDIA
If you are a registered user and upload images to the site, you should avoid uploading images with embedded EXIF GPS location data. Visitors to the site can download and view any location data from images on the site.
COOKIES
If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to check if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
Once you log in, we will set up several cookies to save your login information and screen display options. Login cookies last for 2 days, and screen display option cookies last for 1 year. If you select “Remember Me,” your login will persist for 2 weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
When you edit or publish a post, an additional cookie will be stored by your browser. This cookie contains no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you have edited. This cookie expires after 1 day.
EMBEDDED CONTENT FROM OTHER SITES
Posts on this site may include embedded content (e.g., videos, images, posts, etc.). Embedded content from other sites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor had visited the other site.
These sites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with embedded content if you have an account and are logged into that site.
WHO WE SHARE YOUR DATA WITH
If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.
HOW LONG WE KEEP YOUR DATA
When you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This way we can recognize and approve follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users who register on our site (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can view, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Site administrators can also view and edit this information.
WHAT RIGHTS YOU HAVE OVER YOUR DATA
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
WHERE WE SEND YOUR DATA
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
